Benjamin Prior and Harriet C. Eckersley Winn were residents of Preston during the 1920's or about then. Ben and Hattie, as they were known by all, moved to and from Preston a number of times. He was quite a hand to enjoy sports, parades and such things, and he often went to Ely and got ice cream and fresh fruits to sell on all celebrations. Their children were: William Marion, Alta K., Thelma N., Geneva, Orson John and Lula Barbara. Some of the children went to school in Preston. Ben spent his declining years as an ordinance worker in the Logan Temple.
